Scenarios
Did a search for Dell parts. Only wanted to see nodes with "Dimension" in it. Sort of a grep scenario for web pages, except hierarchical nodes (not a list of lines) are the fundamental data structure.
Eugene sent summary of a phone call to Identity Commons community list on July 13, 2006. Structure of summary could have used HyperScope addressability for intra-document linking/navigation.
Forum systems are regressing. For example, see this Flickr thread (which is pertinent to Identity Commons and 1Society, incidentally). Yes, chronological is nice, but maintaining the referral links would be as well. Cut-and-paste... bah.
