Strategy

We develop strategies for improving collaboration within and between organizations. We specialize in community-building and creating space for catalyzing collaboration.

Our analysis includes process assessment and tool evaluation. We employ a hybrid quantitative and qualitative approach with an emphasis on identifying and applying best practices (patterns).

We also coach groups through the implementation of the strategy.

Facilitation

We specialize in designing and facilitating participatory meetings that tap the collective intelligence of the group.

We apply different processes depending on the task, from graphic facilitation to Open Space. All of our processes share fundamental patterns that emphasize shared understanding and moving toward action.

We’ve designed and facilitated meetings of all types, from corporate board meetings to large conferences.

Workshops

In addition to designing workshops for others, we offer some of our own.

The Sensemaking Series are four-week online coaching seminars where we demystify complex topics related to collaboration.

Tools for Catalyzing Collaboration is an ongoing series of highly interactive, experiential workshops where we explore ways to catalyze collaboration both within our respective communities and within society at large.

Research

The goal of our research is actionable knowledge. We do commissioned case studies of collaboration across all disciplines.

We also host an open collaboratory where we can share our learning and experiment with its application with a broader community of peers and practitioners.
