Last month, Blue Oxen Associates celebrated its sixth anniversary. As the anniversary date approached, I spent more and more time reflecting on all of the amazing projects we’ve had a chance to work on and all of the amazing people we’ve been lucky enough to work with. I’ve even had the opportunity to share some of these learnings all over the world, from Denmark to Ethiopia to India.

Ironically, as much as we’ve helped others use technology to tell their stories and catalyze collaboration within their communities, we’ve been somewhat negligent with our own work. Living our work is a big part of the Blue Oxen Way, and so we’ve spent much of the past few months thinking about how we can do a better job of sharing our knowledge more widely.

We’ve got a lot of great new changes coming, and the first is this new web site, our first redesign, well, ever. We wanted to streamline the site so that our mission is clearer and so that we can use it as a platform for telling our story and the story of our wonderful community. We want to share what we’ve learned and are learning about how to collaborate more effectively.

This redesign is only the first step. In the next few months, you’ll see several announcements here about new content and new services. And while I’ll continue to share stories about our work on my personal blog, we’ll be sharing more and more stories here as well.
